Our Fish

‘Doctor Fish’ is the name given to Garra Rufa Fish.
They live and breed in the outdoor pools in Khangal, Turkey where they feed on the skin of patients with psoriasis. The fish are like ‘comb’ fish in that they only consume the affected areas and dead areas of the skin, leaving the healthy skin to grow. Some customers have experienced complete cure of psoriasis and eczema after repeated treatments.
All feet are cleansed and dried before submersion, and dried & moisturised when the treatment is finished. All our tanks are each fitted with a UV water sterilisation unit (the UV steriliser unit kills bacteria and Pathogens within the water) and each tank is twin filtrated to ensure our water is 100% clean and the clarity is 100%. Our tank's water is regularly changed, and tested twice per day to ensure its cleanliness and safe for our beautiful Dr fish to swim around and live in, and clean and safe for our guests.
